Construction Management (M.SC.)
The increasingly complex tasks in the fields of construction and property development demand the professional and skillful organisation of all processes in the property life-cycle. Whoever takes on this job today has gained his expertise predominantly through “learning by doing”. Neither a classical education in architecture, nor the training offered by a traditional business degree can in themselves prepare you for this demanding, interdisciplinary career, placed somewhere between engineering, economics and management.
The interdisciplinary Construction Project Management degree programme at the SRH University Heidelberg qualifies graduates from the fields of Engineering and Economics to take on demanding management jobs and leadership positions in the construction and property industries, as well as in construction and building management.
Curriculum
Our curriculum takes the entire property life-cycle into equal consideration:
• Project development
• Project implementation and
• Facility management
In addition to acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for this field, you will particularly focus on abilities in systematic planning and interconnective thinking. This is promoted not only through relevant project work, but also through the specific training of key qualifications in the field of management.
Target groups
This offer is aimed at qualified, highly motivated graduates with an engineering degree, for example in architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, industrial engineering and even business.
This degree qualifies you to work in the higher grades of civil service.
