Bachelor of Arts

Our academic year is divided into eight 5-week blocks. In each block, two parallel classes at the most may be taken. For the entire duration of studies, these blocks build on each other with regard to content. Studies begin with a 14-day introductory module at the start of the degree course. Targeted learning is on offer from day one with a university-wide preparatory phase to acquire basic study skills.

For us, internationalization is not just a buzzword – at our university, it is something that is really lived. Guest lecturers from abroad are regularly invited to teach at our university.

We maintain a close network with more than 60 partner universities all over the world and encourage our students to go abroad to study for a semester or do internships. Within Europe, we participate in the ERASMUS program.

Business today requires international exposure and an international experience is guaranteed for all business students by the SRH University Heidelberg business school. The combination of experiences from 2 cultures will help develop social, intercultural and communication skills, promote a global outlook and enhance your employability prospects. 

To equip students with an international experience students can choose to either earn a 2nd degree* from a partner university or take a semester abroad. 

Graduates of a double degree program will be awarded two degrees, one from each country; a (B.A.) International Business plus a second Bachelor degree from one of 3 universities. This provides 2 internationally recognised degrees from 2 different countries. 

International Business BA Germany and Business Administration BBA Korea 
International Business BA Germany and Business and Management BA Hons UK 
International Business BA Germany and Sports Management BA Hons UK (taught in Spain) 

(B.B.A.) Business Administration from Kookmin University, Korea
Duration of the program: 3 years 10 months. Students start their degree in Germany before moving to Korea for a period of 22 months. Fully taught in English. There are no tuition costs to the partner university for the 2nd degree.** 

(BA Hons) Business and Management UK
Duration of the program: 3 years 6 months. Students start their degree in Germany before moving to the UK for a period of 9 months. SRH University Heidelberg has partnered with Bournemouth University, UK, to provide students direct access to a BA Hons degree in Business and Management. There are no tuition costs to the partner university for the 2nd degree.** 

(BA Hons) International Business BA Germany and Sports Management, UK (taught in Spain) 
Duration of the program: 3 years 6 months. Students start their degree in Germany before moving to Spain for a period of 9 months. Internship included. ** 


** The required internship and or thesis can be completed anywhere in the world.

Activating Teaching and Learning Methods:
To ensure that acquired knowledge will be retained, you are instructed with a practical work (case studies, team projects, role plays and presentations).

Competence-Based Methods of Examination:
From the abundance of methods of examination available (oral examination, presentation, projects), we choose the method that fits best to the relevant competencies. Scheduling with a great number of exams will not exist anymore, due to the new program.

Subject-Oriented 5-Week Blocks
Our academic year is divided into eight 5-week blocks. In each block, two parallel classes at the most may be taken. Instead of having to deal with numerous subjects at the same time, you can focus entirely on a maximum of two subjects within one 5-week block.

Close Professional and Individual Supervision:
We will guide you throughout your studies, professionally, individually and in terms of organizational matters. From the beginning of your studies, a qualified mentor will accompany you. Moreover, you will receive individual coaching and professional guidance from our career service.
