Graduates of a dual degree program will be awarded two internationally recognised degrees, one from each country; a B.A. in International Business (Germany) plus a second Bachelor Honours Business and Management Top Up degree from Bournemouth University (United Kingdom). You will start studying in Germany and be taught core business courses with an international focus by international lecturers from professional business backgrounds. The international experience starts in your third year when you start the second degree in the UK.
Internationalisation is the norm at the SRH Business School with guest lecturers from abroad regularly invited to teach at our university. We are constantly welcoming exchange student from our partner universities from around the world, who join the business courses.
If you want to implement your own business model during or after graduation, you will be supported by the SRH Hochschule Heidelberg incubator company for “business start-ups”.
There is a selection process and only students with good grades and no failed courses can be considered for a dual degree.
**The required thesis can be completed anywhere in the world.

Studying Competence - The CORE PRINCIPLE
After your graduation, you will start your career with a great sense of self-confidence. Our students possess everything for a successful career: knowledge, competence, expertise and key skills. Our students are self-assured about their abilities.
Activating Teaching and Learning Methods:
To ensure that acquired knowledge will be retained, you are instructed with a practical work (case studies, team projects, role plays and presentations).
Competence-Based Methods of Examination:
From the abundance of methods of examination available (oral examination, presentation, projects), we choose the method that fits best to the relevant competencies. Scheduling with a great number of exams will not exist anymore, due to the new program.
Subject-Oriented 5-Week Blocks
Our academic year is divided into eight 5-week blocks. In each block, two parallel classes at the most may be taken. Instead of having to deal with numerous subjects at the same time, you can focus entirely on a maximum of two subjects within one 5-week block.
Close Professional and Individual Supervision:
We will guide you throughout your studies, professionally, individually and in terms of organizational matters. From the beginning of your studies, a qualified mentor will accompany you. Moreover, you will receive individual coaching and professional guidance from our career service.
