Fear of exams, learning difficulties or low motivation can be overcome well through coaching. Coaching also helps in clarifying goals, e.g. in the transition to an internship or to working life, or if you want to optimize your performance.
The SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg supports its students by offering individual one-to-one coaching. Each student can be supported in up to three individual sessions - the SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg covers the costs.
Coaching is help for self-help. It is neither counselling nor therapy, but help for self-help. A variety of methods can help you to get "back on your feet" in a short time.
Solution-oriented and humorous
The focus is on the solution: "What can I do to feel better tomorrow?" A lengthy investigation of the past according to problem causes does not take place in coaching. However, one may laugh heartily at the one or other surprising turn of events!
Fast and discreet
Two to three sessions are usually already very helpful. And even with very little information about the background of the problem, coaching can be carried out successfully. The coach accompanies the process with attentive observation and thus receives the information important for the success of the coaching. A "soul striptease" would be rather obstructive for the coaching process.
Coaching at SRH University is suitable for mentally stable students who want to optimize their behavior in the context of their studies.
Usually Prof. Dr. Susanne Edinger (Lern- & Lehrcoach ECA) is available as a coach. She has been accompanying students for over 25 years and knows their concerns and needs well.
