Sometimes, studying can be really stressful and take up a lot of your time. So often, it’s sports and physical activity that get cut out of the schedule. But does this have to be the case?
Everybody knows that regular exercise and physical activity positively influence our quality of life and contribute to our well-being and health. They even help reduce stress!
The goal of the “Move your CORE!” is to make sports fun and accessible to every student, especially during their everyday lives. Whether at lunch break, between or after lectures, or from the comfort of the home – sports and exercise are always possible! Alone or together with your friends, the “Move your CORE” project gives you the opportunity to take part in different exercise programmes or to become active in intramural sports. Furthermore, it’s possible to improve and develop the “Move your CORE!” project as an active team member.
Don’t hesitate to take advantage of these upcoming opportunities to improve your physical fitness with these "Move your CORE" programmes!
Our project in detail
Our project will be part of our digital Welcome Days on 01.04.2021.
For all those who don’t have time during the Welcome Days but who still want to train with us, can join our TK-COACH.
The “Move your CORE!” project has already facilitated several scientific studies at the Faculty of Applied Psychology since summer 2020 that have been successfully published in the form of scientific theses in the Health Psychology and Psychology Bachelor programmes as well as in the Psychology Master’s programme. For example, we better understand which barriers and challenges need to be overcome to make students more physically active, and how online training (webinars) can make us more mobile.

You can registrate for the TK-Coach untill 21.04.
We are currently developing a psychologically based, motivational coaching programme for those of you who want to increase your physical activity in everyday life but are having problems getting starting or staying with it. By students for students, with the support of coaches!
Following courses are planned: yoga, calistenics, dungeon & full-body workouts.
