Studying in Heidelberg
Studying at its best
Direct and personal. As always.
“The fact that you are starting university today shows that you are among the brave: At a time when everything seems precarious, you are taking care of your future. At a time when so much has changed, you take the bold step of instigating even greater change. And, by doing so, you are proactively shaping our post-pandemic future – after all, you are tomorrow’s movers and shakers.” explains President Prof. Dr. Carsten Diener in his speech to our April 2021 freshmans.

Digital teaching - We are ready
We started the summer semester at the SRH University Heidelberg on April 1 on time and according to plan. Our goal: to enable our students to complete their studies on schedule and without extending their standard period of study.
With the support of our IT department and the SRH Academy for Higher Education, our lecturers and professors have converted their classroom courses into digital teaching and learning formats with accompanied self-study.
During the conversion, we benefit from our CORE principle, which enables us to use numerous different teaching and learning formats and examination forms. Teaching in 5-week blocks allows us to plan step by step, which offers many advantages especially in this uncertain time.
