Direct and personal. As always.

During this unusual times, SRH University Heidelberg is well prepared for the start of the semester on October 1st, explains President Prof. Dr. Carsten Diener in his speech to the students and staff: “We will master the challenges of the coming weeks just as we have already mastered them in the past months: with creativity, flexibility, communication and above all: together.”
In teaching, the professors will continue to focus on so-called "blended learning" – a mixture of digital formats and classroom teaching. For students who cannot attend events on campus because they are stuck in their home countries, the University will use hybrid formats: face-to-face events that are transmitted online.

Digital teaching - We are ready

We started the summer semester at the SRH University Heidelberg on April 1 on time and according to plan. Our goal: to enable our students to complete their studies on schedule and without extending their standard period of study.
With the support of our IT department and the SRH Academy for Higher Education, our lecturers and professors have converted their classroom courses into digital teaching and learning formats with accompanied self-study.
During the conversion, we benefit from our CORE principle, which enables us to use numerous different teaching and learning formats and examination forms. Teaching in 5-week blocks allows us to plan step by step, which offers many advantages especially in this uncertain time.
